The Place I Love
The seagulls cry in a place that I love
Where the ocean seems to meet the sky.
The touch of the ocean I can feel
While searching for shells and pretty stones
On the sand. I like to walk while Clinging to my loved one’s hand.
A place of wonder watching the angry sea.
One moment it is so calm the next it is wild.
A glance in back of us,
Our footprints already disappear.
Camping, picknicking and swimming--
All through the years we’ve enjoyed the seashore.
Watching and hearing those seagulls in flight,
What are they crying for? we asked.
Maybe, just maybe it’s the only way they know
To honor their Master. This is their prayer.
The white foam on the ocean
For miles and miles can be seen,
Dancing up and down With every wave that comes around
This beautiful seashore with it’s splendid view.
Many memories lie there beneath.
The Maker of this sand and sea
Has created them for all to see.

When Morning Comes
When morning comes and stars still in the sky,
I just sit there and talk to God.
In the stillness of the morning
My heart is filled with his Godly touch.
I look at Him and He looks at me.
Just God and I. What an awesome time!
As night disappears and is replaced by day
I know that God is near and He is here to stay.
I say to Him. “Dear God please don’t leave
Because I need You to stay.
Let me hear your voice
In the stillness of the morning.
Let me see the gifts that I so often miss.
Each new born day, let me enjoy
A place I never want to leave,
’Cause I feel so close to You Dear God--
Won’t You promise me that You’ll stay?”
Walking A Lonely Path
As I walk a lonely path
With teardrops in my eyes,
Preoccupied with the moment of the day,
Never realizing it does not have to be that way.
I seek a friend to share my burden.
It will be much lighter when shared by two.
Finding no one to share with me
The toughest time of my life,
I turn to God and asked Him
“Where are you when I need You?”
“I was here all the time,” the answer came.
“And you never asked.
I waited patiently and you never once started to pray.
If you learn to look in the right places,
Yes, you will find someone to share your burden with.
If no one else you find
I will forever be at your side.”
